MythicPlay gathers in an ancient grove where a single fire has burned for seven cycles. Five bards sit in the circle, passing stories like a shared breath. We don't use screens; the fire provides the light. The page is the air between speaker and listener. A game is a tale, and a tale is a living thing that grows with each telling.
A title begins as a whisper. The bard speaks it aloud, and the circle adds, subtracts, reshapes. The interaction is the retelling; the win condition is a story that survives the forgetting of generations. If the tale falls flat, it is cast into the fire and the circle begins anew. The grove decides the mood; the bard decides the words. The fire decides the ending.
The atelier keeps one rule from the First Teller: *the story must be different each time it is spoken*. The mark is a charred stick from the hearth, used to sign every tale. The grove provides the silence between words; the bard provides the voice. The fire provides the light by which the tale is seen.
